Most of 7Fables is relatively simple, as far as apps go, but there is this Merly character. This conversational character is a prototype of a kind of software "robot." She is able to talk, ask questions, answer questions, move, express, and generally be there to answer questions and let you examine the story from a slightly different angle.

Merly takes your question and filters that through an AI or Chatbot backend to extract the meaning of your question. When that question has a response we send the response through to a system that analyzes how the character should move and for how long. That then gets sent to you. Merly, like any of us, cannot answer any question about anything, but she is there to help fill in the story.
